Writing Samples

Firstly, a little about my writing. I have created one elaborate fantasy world and it is my baby, so the person I pick for that one will be very special. I really enjoy fantasy/magic rping, though really I love just about anything. But I find them to be more interesting, sometimes real world rping without a great climax can get a bit boring. But I’m open to anything and everying. If you’re a Harry Potter, Narnia, Hunger Games, or fantasy world rper, those tend to be my favorite and I’d love to get in contact!

I prefer para style rping and novel rping. I love gif chats, I will not lie though :3, but I do not rp in strictly asterisk. There is so much emotion and details missed that way, so thats really the only reason way.

So now just to show you a bit of my writing!

Sample Number One (Third Gen HP):

Pairing: Esme Bones/Caleb Bell
Dream sequences, during Esmes time away from home.

They were finally back home again, school was over and they had all summer to themselves. They ran through the forest just like they did when they were kids, with their hunting bows strapped to their backs. “Come on, Caleb,” she shouted, almost in a teasing way. He wouldn’t catch up, the forest was both of their element, but Esme was a woodland faerie and he didn’t stand a chance against her. Her footsteps were feather like as she splashed her way through the creek, looking over her shoulder to see him falling behind.

The woods thickened and Esme took this moment to play a small prank on him. She climbed up into a short tree and by the time he came into view, he was whipping his head from side to side not sure where she had gone. She smirked, watching him from above, he looked just as lovely in the forest as she did.

“Boo!” she said as she jumped from her branch on the tree, landing just behind him. She beamed, as he turned around with a shocked, but thoroughly amused look on his face. “Oh you’re gonna pay for that one!” he said and she tried to take off again, but not before he wrapped his arms around her waist. “Not so fast, Meme,” he whispered in her ear, just like when they were kids.

He picked her up in his arms as she struggled to get free, “hope you wanted to go for a swim today,” he smirked.

“Caleb! Don’t you da-!” but it was too late and she splashed into the water and he sooned followed. She searched for the top of the spring, finally bursting into air, just to see his grinning face staring back at her. She sent a splash over his way, “hey!” he said, grabbing her and pulling her into his arms. “Not so great in the water are you, Pixie Dust?”

She glared, “you got my bow wet.” He shook his head, staring her down with that look in his eyes that always seemed to make hers soften. She just couldn’t stay mad at him, she leaned her forehead against his, “promise me something,” she said, looking into his eyes, her face etched in worry.

His hand found her cheek, his thumb gliding along her cheek bone, “anything.”

“You and me,” she whispered, “day and night.”

“Forever,” he smirked, pushing her wet hair from her face and placing his lips against hers.

“Forever,” she repeated, taking his hands in hers. A feeling of happiness and security weld up inside her, there was no one she needed more on this entire earth than the boy that was right in front of her. Like he said, she had her eyes set on him since the day they met.

They floated in the water, silently, holding each other, as if there was nothing better to do with their time. She closed her eyes, laying them against his soaked shirt, listening to the heart beat that laid just below.

The next time she woke up, it was in her room, a whole world away from him now. She curled up with her pillow to her chest, burying her face in her covers, missing him more than he could ever know, more than he could ever possibly feel. The only thing she wanted, was to find her way back to him and never be forced to leave him again.

Writing sample number two (post war HP):

Pairing: Pavarti/Neville
Words:ache, shout, smile, heart, embrace,  cauldron, hex, bewitched
Muse Music: Back to December by Taylor Swift

Neville was making his daily trip to St. Mungos to visit his parents, as he walked down the all to familiar corridors, he saw a familiar figure in a bad. His heart crashed down into his chest and ached a pain he had felt everyday since he walked away from the love of his heart.

Parvati layed, eyes closed, motionless on a hospital bed. “Excuse me,” he said, in a shocked but quiet voice to the healer near by, “this is a dear friend of mine, could you tell me what happened to her?” She picked up the clipboard in front of her bed and explained that Parvati had been hexed, during a small fight with her sister, Padma, but Parvati would recover and should be awake in a matter of a few hours. He thanked her as she walked away and sat down beside Parvatis bed.

He had done this before, when Parvati had gotten attacked by a werewolf. He laid beside her everyday until she was better. It drove Lavender, the mother of his children and girlfriend at the time, crazy, because she knew Neville loved Parvati more than he had ever loved her. He only choose to stay with her for the children, but eventually the conflict between making the right choice and being miserable and making the wrong choice and being happy, tore the couple apart.

So when Neville had to sit beside her hospital bed once again, he thought of something she had once asked him before, “Tell me, Nev, what do you want to do right now, regardless of my wishes, regardless your responsibilities… what do you want to do?” Before, he didn’t answer her, he simply kissed her, because when he looked at her, with those bewitching eyes, he couldn’t help be honest. So now, when he had a second chance to think about that question, he didn’t hesitate to answer. What did he want to do? “I want to take you home. I want to make you my wife. I want to grow old and come home to you and your beautiful smile every night. I want to never have to walk away from you again. I want to never feel this pain of not having you in my life again. I want you, I choose you,” he whispered, as he stroked her hair away from her face. He moved in and placed his lips against hers, just once and when he pulled away, he saw her eyes open.

His heart skipped a beat, he certainly hadn’t expected that, “did you he-” she was already nodding her head. He took her hand in his, his cheeks flushed red, nerves kicking into high gear, “I-I know I don’t deserve you giving me a second chance, but we didn’t get a fair chance the first time around. When Lavender got pregnant, I thought I was doing the right thing,” he took a deep breath. “I love you,” he said with more confidence than he had ever had. “I’ve waited so long to be able to say that to you.”

Parvati stared, not sure what to say, her guard was up, but even just hearing him say those words made her heart fly. She could just picture it, coming home to Nevilles warm embrace, cooking dinner in the cauldron, talking about how dull their days were without the other there beside them.

Was Neville worth taking the risk? What if Lavender tried to win him back? Who would he pick? Love or family? She feared family, the one thing Neville never truly had in his life, but she could be his family and his love, she was hoping that was enough.

She looked at him with a twinkle in her eye, “you chose me,” she said, her voice to weak from slumber, but all the same, a smile spread across her face.

Neville beamed, he wanted to shout to the sky with happiness. “Yes-yes, I choose you.” He wouldn’t screw it up this time either, life without Parvati, was hardly a life at all. “Always.”

Five Years Later

Parvati sat at the table, Benjamin and Sophia sat around them, now seven years old, eating dinner together. Upon Parvati’s finger was their wedding ring, Neville quite got over the fact that someone like Parvati ended up with someone like him. Nonetheless, be carrying his third child. It was going to be hard, Neville knew she was afraid, but he would help her through this, she wouldn’t loose her baby this time, not on his watch.

In the past five years his life had only got increasingly better, looking back now, on the days he suffered without Parvati, twinged a little bit, but it was nothing in comparison to the real thing. But having her for the rest of his life, he would never have to feel that way again and neither would she.

Lavender never got over that Neville had picked Parvati over her, but in time, she learned that he was still the father of her children and therefore she couldn’t bring herself to push him out of her life. So when she came to pick up the children, she didn’t come inside, she simply gave Neville a kiss on the cheek, waved to Parvati, and was on her way out. It sadden Neville to see the way she looked at them. He still cared for her, he wished they could of at least remained friends. Alas love meets a bitter end.

Neville never regretted his decision, even when looking into Lavenders angst filled eyes. Because at night when he laid down with Parvati in his arms, he still got warm and fuzzy feelings, everything felt right, and he had never slept more peacefully. She was who he was searching for all along.

He finally found a home.

Writing Sample Number Three (AU Hunger Games):

Pairing: Bonnie Peyton and Salem Owens
Story: Bonnie and Salem were in the Hunger Games, part of a group of allies who were rescued by rebel forces during the 55th hunger games. Five years later they have two children, Nathan Allan Owens and Catherine Elizabeth Owens.

I Have Loved You For A Thousand Years

Bonnie cradled her crying baby daughter in her arms, singing the song her own more used to sing to her, before she died. Bonnie never thought she would get that sense of family back, but that was all before she met Salem. He brought her back to life, he made her happy when she was on the brink of death. He had saved her more then he could ever imagine.

Its hard to think that only five years ago they were fighting to the death in an arena. Bonnie was completely shocked when the rebels followed through on their promise to save the allies and luckily all eight of them made it out of the arena alive. Since then they had all been in hiding in District 13, something that was supposed to no longer exist. Unfortunately, this wasn’t before Bonnie had killed Kendall in the blood bath or Harmony later on in the games. Her hands were already tainted, but thankfully not in cold blood, she had been attacked first.

Within their first year of being freed of Panem, Bonnie gave birth to her first child, Nathan. Who now laid curled up in his fathers arms, as they slept through the night. She looked down at them with a small smile, even with a war going on around them, she could take joy in the simple pleasure of the peaceful looks on their faces.

It was a beautiful sight that no picture would ever capture accurately and no words would ever be able to describe. If there was ever a moment that she could freeze and live in forever, it was this one. Being in a room with the three people she loved more then anything in the world, listening to sound of their breathing, knowing that they were alive.

Knowing that in the rooms surrounding her Keira, India, Kim, Keanu, Beau, Elijah and Elena, all slept through the night, completely safe. This could all be taken away from her so quickly, but she wasn’t the scared little girl from District Three anymore. She was a wife, a mother, a survivor, and if anything tried to take this away from her, she wouldn’t go down without a fight. She had already lost too much, including Skye, who they had killed shortly after her escape. This was her new family now and she’d be damned if it was going to be taken away again.

Bonnie looked over at the clock, it was eight in the morning. She set Catherine in her crib and went over to Nathan, brushing her hand over his hair, “its time to get up,” she whispered quietly. The boy with the same sea green eyes as his father, peeked at her, rubbing his eyes to adjust to the light. “Come on, go shower, so we can all go down to breakfast,” she said, helping the boy out of his fathers arms.

She ruffled the childs hair, giving him his clothes for the day, “alright lets go.” She felt a arm hand grip around her wrist and pull her onto the bed, “where are going sunshine? He knows where the bathroom is.” Bonnie let out a small laugh as he pulled her into arms, her electric blues eyes, connected with his sea green ones. She pressed her lips to his once and as usual lightening struck through them, just like the very first time they had kissed.

Nothing was better then this, his arms around her. The sun shining in through their window, illuminating their faces. His thumb ran across her cheek, she turned her face into it, tracing his fingers with her lips.

“Get a room,” Nathan said, looking at his parents. Salem sprung up from the bed, taking Nathan in his arms and swinging him around, the little boys laughter filling the room. Even Catherine had woken up to watch the pair of them, Bonnie smiled, hearing Kim pounding on the door, telling them to keep it down.

No, things certainly did not get any better then this.
